Six Decorah FFA members exhibited at the 2015 Iowa State Fair.
Three Decorah FFA members were swine exhibitors. Dustin Smith exhibited four market pigs, each receiving a purple ribbon. Elizabeth Smith exhibited one market pig and two derby pigs, receiving three purple ribbons and showing the Derby Live Purebred Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Derby Carcass Pig. Emily Smith showed two Derby Pigs, receiving two purple ribbons and showing the Grand Champion Derby Live Individual Pig, and Grand Champion Derby Carcass Pig.
Nathan Krull restored a 1950 Farmall C Demonstrator and was entered in the Ag Mechanics Show. He received a purple ribbon and was selected as the Champion Restored Tractor prior to 1958. Krull was also chosen as the Northeast Iowa FFA District recipient of a $1,000 grant from the International Harvester Collectors Club, Chapter 5.
Cody Zidlicky exhibited four dairy cattle and received all purple ribbons. He also received Junior Champion Ayrshire, Senior Reserve Champion Brown Swiss, and Reserve Champion Brown Swiss.
Lukas Phillips exhibited two Mini Rex senior bucks in the State FFA Rabbit Show. He received a red and white ribbon.
