NICC has hired a new vice president for finance and administration.
Dave Dahms joins NICC from Sinclair Tractor in Muscatine, where he was Chief Financial Officer. He was responsible for serving on the executive leadership team and provided oversight for all accounting, information technology, legal and risk management.
Prior to moving to Sinclair in 2014, Dahms served as the CFO and vice president for finance and administration for Precision Equipment in Muscatine. In that role, he was responsible for accounting, banking, budgeting, human resources, information technology, legal and risk management, and all tax functions. He worked to create a sustainable and scalable accounting structure that supported double-digit sales growth and merger and acquisitions activity over a period of seven years.
Dahms also served in a variety of management positions with Bandag, Inc., also in Muscatine, including division credit manager, credit manager/North American sales, manager/corporate credit, director of treasury services and treasurer, and vice president and treasurer.
He received a Bachelor of Arts in finance from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Arts in business administration from the University of Iowa. He is a graduate of South Winneshiek High School in Calmar.
Dahms replaces John Noel of Decorah, the former NICC vice president for finance and administration, who retired in June.
