Thank you to Bodensteiner Implement Company of Decorah, Decorah Kawasaki Suzuki Sports Center, Waukon Power Sports, and both John Kerndt and John Noel for donating ATVs that allowed the tours to take place.
Thank you to Winneshiek County Conservation, the 28-E Committee, and the City of Decorah for their support and help.
A profound thank you to the Decorah Trout Hatchery for allowing us to hold the event at the Hatchery and use their facilities.
We are grateful to Decorah Bicycles for assisting us in offering bike safety inspections and bike bells in order to reduce the risk of accidents and improve trail safety for all trail users.
We are grateful to the Trail Tour Committee consisting of Mike Huinker, Judy Robinson, Ward Budweg, Francis Peterson, Jen Gipp and Jeff Tomlinson for their endless work on the project and the many Rotarians who volunteered their time and talents to make the event possible.
We are very appreciative of Quillin's for preparing the food for the community picnic, Decorah Rentals for supplying tables and chairs, and Letterwerks Sign City, LLC for providing signage to alert trail users of the event in progress.
In addition, we are thankful to Decorah Newspapers, decorahnews.com, and KDEC FM 100.5 and KVIK FM 104.7 for helping to promote the event.
Most of all, thank you to all the participants who took part in the trail tours and made generous donations to the Decorah Rotary Club!
The event was a great success and the Decorah Rotary Club is incredibly grateful to Winneshiek County, the 28-E Committee, and the City of Decorah for allowing us to be a part of such an amazing event.
