Decorah Schools announces new teachers and reassigned positions

Classes start Monday in the Decorah School District.  But work has already begun for teachers and other staff members, who have been busy this week getting ready for the new school year.

New or reassigned teachers and staff members at the pre-school and elementary levels are Allie Grainger, Katy Hafner, Clarissa Einck, Shanna Putnam Dibble, Katie Courtney, Nicole Ondrashek, Johanna Delaney, Gabe Twedt, Jessica Uhlenhake, Kylie Butler, Megan Dunlap, Andrew Ellingsen, Sarah Zbornik, Kari O'Hara, Sarah Elsbernd and Shannon Quandahl.
 
At Decorah Middle School, new teachers are Zach Fromm and Jesse Halweg, while Denise Lee, Jesse Lyon and Randy Iverson will have new positions.
 
At Decorah High School Brett Wilker, Kathryn Thompson, Karen Stock and Carrie Kauffman are new this year.
 
Finally, new school district staff members are Becky Lyon, Thelma Mosher, Lauren Sharp, Penny Bockman, Roxanne Gray and Ron Herman.
