Decorah man arrested at movie theater

A Decorah man was arrested by police Tuesday night at Fridley Theaters in Decorah.

Police say they were called to the movie theater around 7:30 p.m.  They found 23-year-old Chance Beard inside, sitting with an open folding knife.  During the investigation Beard smelled heavily of alcohol and was arrested for Public Intoxication and taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.  While at the jail, drug paraphernalia was found within Beard's property.

In addition to the Public Intoxication charge, Beard was charged with Harassment and with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
