Mark Lovelace and Kris Bigler have been approved by the Decorah Community School Board to extend their terms as Shareholders.
Shareholders act as an advisory board to the district, and are usually given specific areas to consider each year. This year they have been asked specifically to consider areas of priority and potential areas to cut costs at a time when school districts are not optimistic about the direction of education funding by the governor and legislature.
Superintendent Mike Haluska said they could use about three or four more members. Interested persons may contact the Superintendent's Office.
