Winneshiek Medical Center trained 63 youth for the responsibility of babysitting this summer.

At the Winneshiek Medical Center babysitter training, students learn the basics of babysitting, basic child care and first aid from trained instructors, first-responders/paramedics and law enforcement.

Babysitter training is a one-day class at Winneshiek Medical Center which prepares students to face the challenge of babysitting.  It is appropriate for youth ages 11 and older.

To be added to the waiting list for upcoming classes, call WMC Volunteer Services at 563-387-3036.  Spots in the classes are limited; pre-registration is required.
