Motorized tours of Trout Run Trail were a success

The tours were organized by Rotary members

The Trout Run Trail attracts many bike riders, walkers and runners.  On Friday it attracted 125 people who had never before been on the trail.

The Decorah Rotary Club gave elderly or physically challenged people motorized tours of the trail on Gators and other motorized vehicles.  Such vehicles aren't allowed on the trail, but city and county officials have allowed this exception to give donors and others who have been involved in the trail project a chance to see the results of their help.
 
The tours drew rave reviews from people who said they never would have gotten to see the trail without the help of the event.
