Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department makes three separate arrests

Three different people have been arrested by the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies say they received a complaint Thursday night involving a driver on HIghway 9.  They located 43-year-old Darrick Brehm of Lawler and arrested him for driving while suspended.  He was taken to the county jail.

On Saturday night deputies arrested 35-year-old Ryan Knight of Independence on a probation violation warrant.  Knight was also taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.

Finally, early Monday morning deputies received a call about an intoxicated man passed out behind the wheel of a car on County B-16 near Highway 52.  23-year-old Zachary Soukup was charged with Operating While Intoxicated.
