Krista Vanden Brink will join John Hjelle and Brian Petersburg on the September Decorah School Board ballot

Three people have filed nomination papers to run for spots on the Decorah Community School Board.  Newcomer Krista Vanden Brink will join incumbents John Hjelle and Brian Petersburg in running for three spots on the school board.  Current school board member Melanie Tietz will end her service after 12 years on the board.

The election will be held September 8th.  Newly elected board members will be installed at the September 21st board meeting.
