NICC's Mihm-Herold honored by Iowa Association of Community College Trustees

NICC board of trustees member Bob Shafer and NICC vice president of NICC Business and Community Solutions Wendy Mihm-Herold

The Iowa Association of Community College Trustees has given its 2015 IowaOutstanding Administrator/Manager Award to NICC's Wendy Mihm-Herold.

Mihm-Herold is vice president of NICC Business and CommunitySolutions.  Her department handles businessand industry training, economic development efforts and continuing education programs throughout northeast Iowa.

Says NICC board of trustees member Bob Shafer, "Wendycares only about one thing: How to impact lives positively through her work. Her sense of accomplishment is measured by the benefits to the individual,their family and their community."  

Mihm-Herold has more than 25 years of experience as anexecutive officer in public and private nonprofit sectors. At NICC she has been responsible for the implementation and success of 11 grantstotaling more than $26.3 million.
