Decorah Girl Scouts are collecting school supplies

Decorah Brownie Girl Scout Troop #6336 is collecting new or good used school supplies that will be distributed by the Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation Family Service office to area families in need.

Donation boxes have been set out at Decorah churches and banks, as well as at Fareway, Donlons and The Family Table.

The Girl Scouts will be collecting supplies up until August 31st.  After that time cash donations or supplies can be dropped off or sent to NEICAC's Winneshiek County Family Service office in the basement of the Smith Building (old hospital) in Decorah.
