A Decorah bank may be changing ownership.
Kerndt Brothers Savings Bank of Lansing has filed an application with the Iowa Division of Banking to purchase the assets and assume the liabilities of Fidelity Bank & Trust in Decorah and also the firm's office in Waukon.
The application was processed by the state on July 22nd, meaning the public has until Monday, August 3rd to submit comments. Kerndt Bothers Savings Bank says it plans to continue to operate the two bank offices. Kerndt Brothers Savings Bank has offices in Lansing, Cedar Rapids, Clermont, Harpers Ferry and West Union.
