The Decorah Public Library is now offering free downloads of eBooks and audiobooks available anytime, anywhere.
Library patrons now have access to more than 16,500 eBooks and 7,500 audiobooks. Many titles offer multiple copies for checkout. Users can request to be emailed or automatically check out items when they become available. Digital content is available for two weeks. Titles automatically expire at the end of the lending period--there are no late fees!
Decorah Public Library Director Lorraine Borowski says, "Titles can be downloaded directly to your device from anywhere you have an internet connection." She also says anyone seeking assistance is can come to the library every Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. for help.
Users can browse the library's website, check out with a valid library card, and access borrowed titles via PC, Mac, and mobile devices with free desktop and mobile apps.
