The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department has released details of a river rescue Friday night on the Upper Iowa River north of Kendallville.
The Sheriff's Department received a call around 10:30 p.m. Friday saying that four females were stranded on the river. The Decorah Fire Department, Cresco Fire Department, Winneshiek Medical Center ambulance and Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department responded to the call. The women were located along the river by the Decorah Fire Department's fire & rescue boat. The women were not injured.
