Scavenger hunt will return for Nordic Fest

'The "Nisse on the Trail" Scavenger Hunt has returned for Nordic Fest 2015.

10 Nisse will be hiding along the Trout Run Trail during Nordic Fest.  University of Iowa graduate art students created original, hand-crafted Nisse statues which are being used for the scavenger hunt.

Maps and additional materials will be available starting Wednesday at Nordic Fest headquarters at the Winneshiek County Convention and Visitors Bureau at 507 West Water Street in Decorah.  Nisse will be hidden in time to begin searching on Wednesday.

All participants will be eligible for prizes.  Additional prizes will be awarded in several photo contest categories.
