Second annual "After the Fledge" meeting in Decorah highlights everything bald eagle

A gathering of over 100 Decorah bald eagle enthusiasts will begin in town on Thursday.

"After the Fledge" is being organized by the most loyal of fans of the Decorah bald eagle webcam.

The weekend event will begin Thursday night with a meet & greet at the Steyer Opera House at the Hotel Winneshiek.  There will also be canoeing, kayaking, biking, a Discover Decorah "scavenger hunt" and other events over the next three days.  The event wraps up with a Saturday night dinner at the Decorah Fish Hatchery under a big canopy tent.
