Catholic Daughters of America donates to Helping Services

The St. Benedict Parish chapter of Catholic Daughters of America has given a donation of $256 to Helping Services for Northeast Iowa to help support that agency's domestic abuse prevention programs.
 
Each spring Iowa CDA members have a Life Saver Drive.  60 percent of the money collected in the drive is donated locally, with 40 percent sent to the state court to be given to domestic violence victims throughout the state.
