Letter to the Editor about Decorah Swimming Pool admission fees

Decorah resident Pavel Domnenko has submitted this Letter to the Editor:

Since the Decorah Pool took down the slide for this season, why does it cost $4.50 for entrance admission??  With the diving boards and the swim lanes being the only form of entertainment at the pool, why is the cost so high?  The prices of the pool are drastically increasing season after season so why are patrons forced to pay such high prices when there isn't even a slide for children and young adults to enjoy?  Why does the city (which owns the pool) expect their patrons to visit an establishment that is incomplete?  Offer a discount price since there isn't as much to do at the pool.
