Two injured in Wednesday accident on Highway 24 north of Fort Atkinson

The Iowa State Patrol says two people were injured Wednesday in a head-on collision on Highway 24 one mile north of Fort Atkinson. 

62-year-old Suzan Farrell of Hawkeye was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester by Air Med.  19-year-old Tanner MIller of Waucoma was taken to Winneshiek Medical Center by ambulance.

The State Patrol says it is still investigating how the accident occured.  The Calmar Fire Department, Calmar Ambulance, Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department and Iowa Department of Transportation assisted the State Patrol.
