Decorah City Engineer Lindsay Erdman says the work on the Highway 9 Utility Project is going well. The project is extending sewer and water service to the Decorah Business Park on the top of the hill along HIghway 9.
Erdman told city officials Monday that the water main has been installed along Highway 9 east of Old Stage Road. Five of six businesses along that portion of Highway 9 now have city water service.
Crews continue to work to finsh off utility work just east of Old Stage Road along HIghway 9. Erdman says the next big stage of the utility project will involve construction of a pumping station further up the Highway 9 hill.
