WMC awaits final approvals of revisions to agreements with MCHS-Franciscan Medical Center

New business for the Winneshiek Medical Center Board of Trustees' July 1 meeting included an update of revisions to a management service agreement and professional service agreement between WMC and Mayo Clinic Health System Franciscan Medical Center, Inc.

WMC Chief Administrative Officer Lisa Radtke offered that "revisions were made to reflect current practice, will ensure consistency between and within the agreements, and that there were no substantive changes."

"The final document is not public until all approvals have been obtained," said WMC trustees board chairman Rick Burras.
"Over the years, area patients have benefitted from our relationship with Mayo, as their local physicians have shared resources and expertise, developed common patient care and safety practices, and collaborated with other Mayo Clinic locations to improve care regionally. For our patients and community, this is the best of both worlds."
