"The Given World" copies now available prior to book discussion

Limited copies of Marian Palaia's book, "The Given World," are now available for checkout at the Decorah Public Library.
 
Library staff members will lead a discussion of the book at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 16th, at Java John's on Water Street. The discussion will take place on the patio, weather permitting.  

Spanning more than 25 years, the coming-of-age story of one young woman also is the story of a family, a generation, and a world rocked by war—and still haunted by it long after.
