Raptor Resource Project officials have announced that after two days of troubleshooting, they believe the eagle cameras might not be working again this season.
At this point there is no video output from either camera. RRP officials say it appears problem may be either in the tree or somewhere underground. While work could be done underground, work can't be done in the nests now. That's because although the eaglets have fledged, they remain active in and around the nest and shouldn't be disturbed them at such a critical time in their lives.
Raptor Resource Project says it will continue to try to get the cameras back online this summer and also is planning upgrades, including equipment replacement, this fall.
