Park-Rec Board continues to work on replacing the swimming pool slide

The slide has been removed at the Decorah Muncipal Swimming Pool.  Now comes more work to install a new slide.

Members of the Decorah Parks and Recreation Board are still reviewing their options for a new slide, but a decision will be forthcoming soon.  Plans call for footings for the new slide to be installed this fall, with construction of the new slide starting as soon as possible next spring.

The Park-Rec Board took no action Thursday on proposals presented to it by a swimming pool consultant--but could reach a decision next month.
