Mr. Answer Person says, "Go back to bed, Locust Road neighbors!"

"Mr. Answer Person" has done something he's never done before--he's been useful!

Several people living in the Locust Road and Highland Drive neighborhood had contacted Mr. Answer Person about a bright white light on a "nearby tower" that was flashing on and off at night, making it difficult to sleep.

Mr. Answer Person discovered that the tower in question was NOT the U.S. Cellular tower, as some readers had insisted, but the Alliant Energy tower nearby.

A phone call to Alliant Energy officials from Mr. Answer Person resulted in a utlity crew being sent to the tower--where they discovered that when work had been done at the tower site a week or so ago, the switch for the light was left in the "daytime" position instead of the "nighttime" position.  A flip of the switch--and the problem has been solved.
