A new movie shot in part at Luther College has premiered

A movie shot in part at the Luther College swimming pool — "Rise of the Sea Urchins" — premiered recently.

The feature film about an Iowa high school water polo team was created by Iowa and Minnesota residents, including students at Waldorf College in Forest City.  Water polo scenes filmed at Luther College's Aquatic Center in Decorah.

The film premiered in Spring Grove, Minnesota and seven other locations on Friday.
