Mayo Clinic Children's Center has again been ranked as the top performing children's hospital in Minnesota, Iowa and the Dakotas, according to U.S. News & World Report's 2015-2016 Best Children's Hospitals rankings.
The annual U.S. News Best Children's Hospitals rankings evaluate hospitals in 10 specialties, from cancer to urology. In the 2015-16 rankings, 83 hospitals were ranked among the top 50 in at least one specialty. The Mayo Clinic Children's Center was one of only 19 children's hospitals across the country to rank in the top 50 of all 10 pediatric specialties in 2015-2016.
Mayo Clinic Children's Center got the highest rankings for its cardiology and heart surgery unit (13th) and its urology unit (14th). It got its lowest rankings for children's pulmonology unit (45th) and its neonatal unit (46th).
