Ridgeway man arrested on parole violation charge

A Ridgeway man, 25-year-old Alexander D. Blaess, was arrested early Thursday morning in Cresco on a felony warrant for probation violation and on a second warrant for a pre-trial violation. 

Blaess was transported by the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office to the Winneshiek County Jail.  He is being held without bond on the probation violation and $1,500 cash bond on the pre-trial violation.
