A sample of Decorah resident David Cavagnaro's garden photography will be on display during most of the summer in Preus Library on the Luther campus. The exhibit, on loan from the Roy J. Carver Co-Lab Collection at Iowa State University, is open to the public with no charge for admission.
Cavagnaro has photographed diverse, colorful and unusual heirloom varieties of maize. The diversity found in the imagery underscores the work of Seed Savers Exchange.
This exhibit is in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Council on Botanical and Horticultural Libraries, hosted by Seed Savers Exchange, June 16th through the 20th, and the 40th anniversary of Seed Savers Exchange, July 17th through the 19th, at Heritage Farm near Decorah.
