Winneshiek County supervisors invited to tour Millenium Ag

Winneshiek County supervisors have been invited to tour the Millenium Ag confinement site on June 17th. Spokesperson Nancy Everman said the tour would be "a good opportunity for you to see how this farm operates."

In 2013 the Winneshiek County Board voted against an application by Millenium Ag to expand the capacity of its operation. However, the Iowa DNR's Environmental Protection Commission later voted 8-0 to overrule the county and to issue a permit to Millenium Ag.
