Wendy Mihm-Herold honored by Northeast Iowa Community College

NICC vice president of Business and Community Solutions Wendy Mihm-Herold has been given the college's "District Extra Effort Award."  The award honors individuals who demonstrate the ability to promote the NICC mission beyond the normal call of duty.

Mihm-Herold, who lives in Fort Atkinson, joined NICC in 2001.  She received the District Extra Effort Award for her work with the Business and Community Solutions division at NICC, which handles programs involving economic development, business and industry training, and continuing education.

Mihm-Herold was also honored for her ongoing efforts to build partnerships between the college and leaders in business, education and industry, and for her leadership in delivering continuing education programming for community members in northeast Iowa.
