Luther College is releasing a live recording of Handel's "Messiah"

The Luther College Music Department is releasing a new live album of Handel's "Messiah."  The album is compiled from live recordings of the performances at the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall at Luther College on March 27th and at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis on March 29th.

The physical and digital format of the album are available online at https://www.luther.edu/music/messiah/, or at the Luther College Book Shop for $25.

This presentation of Handel's "Messiah" includes the Cathedral Choir, Collegiate Chorale, Nordic Choir, Symphony Orchestra and student soloists, conducted by Luther music professor and choral director Allen Hightower.  Conductors for the ensembles are Jennaya Robison for the Cathedral Choir; Andrew Last for the Collegiate Chorale; and Daniel Baldwin for the Symphony Orchestra.
