Federal charges filed, state charges dropped against Tyrone Wilson

Alleged State Bank of Calmar robber Tyrone Wilson has been transferred to jail in Cedar Rapids.

That's because Wilson has been indicted on federal bank robbery charges and has had the previously-filed state charges dropped.

Wilson is scheduled to make an initial appearance Thursday in Federal Court in Linn County.  Because he now faces federal charges instead of state charges, Wilson will remain incarcerated in the Linn County Jail.
