The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department is still investigating an incident involving a blue Chevy Camaro found stuck in the mud in a field along Highway 52 north of Decorah.
A Sheriff's Deputy noticed the car Saturday morning. The car had Kansas license plates, but was not listed as stolen. The registered owners of the car had not called to report an accident involving their vehicle, either.
The car was towed out of the field due to probably crop damages. Sheriff's Deputies are still trying to solve the mystery of how and why the car got into the field.
