Decorah 4th graders have been recognized for their math skills

A number of 4th Grade students from Carrie Lee Elementary's Extended Learning Program have been recognized for their performances on the Noetic Learning Math Contest, a national mathematics contest for elementary and middle school students.

More than 24,000 students across the country took part in this spring's contest.  Five Carrie Lee students won the National Honor Roll title awarded to approximately the top 10 percent of participating Mathletes--Erik Hjelle, Ella Grouws, Lange Betts, Mia Chen, and Eva Carbonell..

Another ten Carrie Lee students received National Honorable Mention, awarded to approximately the top 50 percent of participating Mathletes--Jaden Baker, Autumn Schaller, Trae Ronan, Grant Huber, Ethan Stravers, Hope Stahl, Rebecca Anderson, Carter Schmelzer, Mya Redenius and Chloe Reiser.
