Robbery charges have been filed against 48-year-old Tyrone Wilson of Postville in relation to Tuesday morning's robbery at the State Bank in Calmar.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office and Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are requesting the public's assistance in locating Wilson, who was last seen around 10:30 Tuesday morning in Calmar.
Wilson is a black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark pants and a blue and yellow hoodie. Wilson was last seen driving a black 1998 Chevy 3500 truck with license plate CWM 696.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Tyrone Wilson are asked to call the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office at (563) 382-4268.
Someone entered Security State Bank in Calmar around 10:30 Tuesday mroning and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. The subject left the bank on foot. No one was injured at the bank.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office is receiving assistance from multiple local, state and federal agencies, including the Iowa State Patrol, FBI and DCI.
For a time on Tuesday afternoon, Postville schools were locked down. It is not known whether the lockdown was connected with Wilson's disappearance. The lockdown was lifted later in the afternoon.
