School Board approves DEA agreement and will proceed with contracts

The Decorah Community School Board has approved the agreement between the Decorah Education Association and the Board Negotiating Committee, and will now proceed initiating contracts.

The agreement called for a base salary increase of $369 to $28,789, and a total package increase of 3.52 percent (includes salary, health care, IPERS). The total district cost increase will be $319,713.
