Both drivers ticketed in Thursday accident

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department ticketed both drivers Thursday in an accident on Highway 24 and 330th Avenue that did a total of $10,500 in property damage.

The Department says 44-year-old Daniel Kime of Waucoma was pulling a livestock trailer east on Highway 24 and started to make a left hand turn onto 330th Avenue.  55-year-old Beverly Fredercik of Decorah had begun to pass Kime's livestock trailer when Kime turned.

Kime was ticketed for improper rear light.  Frederick was ticketed for passing too near to an intersection.
