The former national lead enforcer for the Sons of Silence motorcycle gang, Waterloo native Ron Gruber, will speak at First Lutheran Church in Decorah on Friday evening.
Gruber will share his "Celebrate Recovery" story, including how an encounter in the woods led to transformation in his life. Ron was serving a 50 year sentence for murder. He has since been paroled because of his prison work that helped him and other men change.
There will be a meal provided at 6:00 p.m. Friday, with Ron's story to follow at 7:00 p.m. The program is free and open to the public.
