Soccer field improvements mean better experience this spring

The Decorah Parks & Recreation Department has been investing a lot of time, effort and money on improving the soccer fields at Will Baker Park.

277 kids have signed up for this spring's Saturday soccer programs at Will Baker Park.  The fields also get used by members of the Decorah UNited Soccer Club (DUSC) for practices and games throughout the week.

The improvements to Will Baker Park have more than doubled the size of the parking lot to give more room for parents coming to watch their kids play.  There are also eight painted soccer fields at Will Baker Park, giving teams enough space for their own games.
