Decorah City Council discusses whether Metronet should expand

Where should Metronet go from here?

That was the question posed to Decorah City Council members Monday night.  City Manager Chad Bird told council members that after four years of work, "We've met our initial goals."  What is the vision for the next generation of Metronet--if there will be a next generation--asked Bird.

While city council members discussed the question, they reached no conclusions.  A teleconference with Curtis Dean of the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities is one possible future action.
