Two vehicles collide in Locust Road accident

Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning on Locust Road.

A car driven by 67-year-old Vernice Klug of Mabel and a car driven by 61-year-old Phyllis Maroushek of Decorah arrived at the intersection of Locust Road and Big Canoe Road at about the same time. Neither driver saw the other vehicle, so the two cars collided.

Klug suffered minor injuries. Neither driver was ticketed.
