A stalled car on Short Street at the Highway 9 intersection around 1:00 Sunday afternoon led to a two-vehicle accident.

47-year-old Becky Courtney of Decorah tried to get around the stalled car, but she told Decorah Police she did not see another car which was travelling in the right lane.  She struck the car being driven by 43-year-old David Neal of Worthington, South Dakota, causing a total of $5,000 in damages.

Neither driver was injured.  Courtney was ticketed for Improper Lane Change.
