Felton pledges support of Marx, Sheriff's Department

Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputy Tim Felton--the other candidate for the job of Winneshiek County Sheriff--pledged his support of newly-appointed Sheriff Dan Marx following Wednesday's vote by the Winneshiek County Board.

"I will work with Dan Marx for the good of the Sheriff's Department," Felton told decorahnews.com following the vote.

He also said that he would not ask for a special election to be held to fill the sheriff's position and said he had not given any thought yet on whether he would run for the position in the November 2016 election.
