Decorah man arrested for allegedly giving alcohol to a minor

Decorah Police say they have issued separate charges against two Decorah men in a case involving alcoholic beverages.

Officers were called to the Kwik Star in Decorah shortly before midnight Saturday.  They learned that 21-year-old Gary Halvorson II had purchased alcohol and allegedly given it to Wyatt Anderson of Decorah.

Halvorson was charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor, while Anderson was charged with possession of alcohol under the legal age.
