Decorah Police have released the details of a call to the Bluff's Inn on Wednesday night around 10:00 p.m.
Police said they were called to the swimming pool area at the motel by a 9-1-1 call. When they arrived, they found 27-year-old Irene Jones lying in the bottom of the dry swimming pool. Police officers were told the woman had fallen from a blacony above the pool and broken through a foam covering, 25 feet above the pool deck.
Police say Jones sustained "serious injuries" and was taken to Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse.
Police are ruling the incident an apparent accident.
