Park-Rec is looking for donations for Post Prom Party

The Decorah High School Prom is April 18th.  The post-prom committee has taken in almost $3,300 in cash donations so far, but has a fundraising goal of about $5,000.  The prize committee is working to secure prizes, but funding is imperative in order to allow them to do so.

This year's post prom will take place in Marty's at Luther College with doors opening at 11:30 p.m.  There will be casino games, billiards, socializing, and Minute to Win It Games.  There will also be food at the event provided by Marty's -- walking tacos, sub sandwiches, fruit, veggies, bars, soda and water.  The party headliner is hypnotist Erick Kand, who will perform starting at 1:30 a.m.  The post-prom party will wrap up by 3:00 a.m.

To make a monetary donation, make your check payable to CREW and send to P.O. Box 513, Decorah, IA 52101.  Merchandise donations may be dropped off at the Park-Rec. Office.  If you would like someone to pick up your donation, call 382-4158
