First bald eagle chick hatches

The first Decorah bald eagle chick of 2015 has arrived.

Raptor Resource Project has announced the hatchling--named "D21"--arrived at 6:52 p.m. Friday.

Because of the hatch, Raptor Resource Project's moderated chat on UStream will now be in operation from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
