Then there were two--Deputies Dan Marx and Tim Felton apply to be Sheriff, but Deputy Greg Torgrim does not

One of three possible candidates to become the next Winneshiek County Sheriff--Deputy Greg Torgrim--has not filed an application for the job.  That leaves Deputies Dan Marx and Tim Felton as the two candidates for the position.

The deadline for applying for the job was 12:00 noon on Monday.  Marx and Felton both submitted applications.  Winneshiek County supervisors will interview the two candidates at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Current Sheriff Leon Bohr will be on the job through March 31st.  County supervisors will meet Wednesday morning, April 1st, to vote on naming a replacement for Bohr.
